Profound Logic is pleased to announce the release of Profound UI version 3.3. Profound UI is modernization software that enables RPG developers to create the intuitive, extensible Web browser-based applications today's workforce prefers, without "screen scraping" or significant changes to existing RPG source code.

This release includes many new features and enhancements to improve efficiency and the overall user experience:

• Atrium (Menu/Navigation System): Users can now search the menu by the menu option text, view a list of matches, and then launch the item from the search results.
• Atrium Favorites System: Users now have a Favorites database, similar in concept to a Web browser 'Favorites' folder. Once items have been added to the Favorites database, users can rename them or organize them as they wish. Now users can find and launch the items they want to work with easily, instead of searching for them numerous times.
• Visual Designer and UI Framework: Several time-saving enhancements, such as: the ability to copy and paste entire record formats;the use of Ctrl+C/V in the Library List Dialogue; and a new "multiple" property that allows multiple options to be selected in a List Box. Fixes to existing features include the slider widget not returning values to RPG code.
• Genie (5250 Screen Refacing): Genie now contains several error-reducing enhancements, including: resolving the conflict between windows and "subfile start" screen settings; preventing developers from saving screens with duplicate screen names; and checking for conflicting identifiers from other screens when a screen is being saved
