Dayton, OH – September 2, 2003 -- Profound Logic Software announces the introduction of Themes, which are a set of templates that are used by RPGsp wizards to generate applications. Themes offer RPGsp users the flexibility of predetermining the look and, to an extent, the functionality of applications generated by RPGsp.

The great news is that theme templates are mostly HTML code and they can be maintained visually either within the RPGsp IDE or within any other HTML designer. In addition to HTML, programmers can add special placeholders that are replaced during code generation. Programmers can also add RPGLE script sections and RPG variables if necessary. Profound Logic does not expect developers to build their own templates from scratch; instead, developers can copy and modify an existing template.

Profound Logic plans to create over 20 themes with over 100 templates to be included with RPGsp in the near future. Customers can utilize the provided themes to generate new RPGsp applications, or they can customize them first using the RPGsp Page Designer or any other HTML design tool.
