IBM i Development Export Scott Klement Joins the Profound Logic Software Team

July 11, 2012 - Dayton, OH --Profound Logic Software is very proud to officially announce an addition to our family. Noted IBM i expert Scott Klement has joined our team as Product Developer, and will lend his considerable talents to the development and direction of our best-of-breed IBM i modernization and development tools.

“I’ve long admired Scott for his knowledge of IBM i systems and development,” says Alex Roytman, Profound Logic CEO. “When I learned Scott was looking for a position where he could focus on product development full-time, I knew we could not pass up the opportunity for him to join our team. Adding Scott’s talents to our development team will ensure that we continue to deliver cutting-edge modernization solutions to businesses on the i platform.”

Scott is a well-known voice in the IBM i community, where he is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at COMMON, a senior technical editor for iPro Developer Magazine and a popular speaker at user groups and conferences. Scott also creates open-source development tools that can be found on his home page, http://www.scottklement.com. After working for 28 years at his family’s business, Klement's Sausage Company, he decided it was time for him to pursue his dream: writing tools for IBM i developers.

"I'm thrilled to be joining a team with so much knowledge and skill, and such a strong focus on meeting its customers' needs,” says Scott. “With my talents added to this already strong team, the sky is the limit!"
