Using RPG-Alive's Syntax Highlighting

RPGsp will demonstrate RPG syntax by highlighting or underlining the required and optional fields in the appropriate columns. The fields are color-coded based on the RPG line's specification type and/or the operation code.

To activate syntax highlighting press Tab on a line of RPG code or start modifying a line of code.

Here are some examples:

The fields are color-coded as follows:

• Magenta represents required fields
• Cyan represents optional fields
• Yellow represents length and decimal positions
• Blue represents comment fields
• Green represents keywords
• Red represents conditioning indicators, declaration types, or procedure begin/end flags
