Using RPG-Alive's Keyword Auto-Completion

RPGsp allows you to auto-complete or fill in the rest of any RPG keyword by pressing Tab. Simply type in the first few characters of the word and then press Tab.

The nearest alphabetical match to the keyword is automatically filled in for you. In addition to finding the nearest match alphabetically, RPGsp can also recognize special abbreviations for RPG operation codes. Use

   'ML' for MoveL. 

   'CB' for CallB. 

   'CP' for CallP 

   'CR' for CheckR 

   'ED' for EndDo 

   'EI' for EndIf 

   'MA' for MoveA 

   'RC' for ReadC 

   'RE' for ReadE 

   'RP' for ReadP 

   'RPE' for ReadPE 

   'SG' for SetGT 

   'SL' for SetLL 

   'TB' for TestB 

   'TN' for TestN 

   'TZ' for TestZ 

Auto-completion will work with the following:

• RPG operation codes like Chain, Eval, or Z-Add
• Special RPG keywords like *All, *Off, *LoVal, or *Blanks
• RPG built-in functions like %SubSt, %Found, or %Size
• Special RPGsp functions like RPGspIn, RPGspOut, or RPGspRedirect
• Subroutines or subprocedures you have declared in the current source document
• Any other keywords you define in the RPG-Alive Auto-Complete Dictionary

You can auto-complete keywords in both fixed-format RPG and free-format RPG.
