Code Delineation Options

RPGsp's code delineation demonstrates the syntax of RPG code by underlining conditioning indicators, required fields, optional fields, operation codes, length, decimal positions, indicators, etc.

To open this dialog, select Tools->Options from the menus, and select "Code Delineation" from the navigation tree.

Delineate Options

Calc. Operation Code

Determines whether to underline the Operation Code in magenta when it is empty or invalid.

Factor1, Factor2, Result, Indicators

Determines whether to underline the required and optional Factor 1, Factor 2, Result, and Indicator Fields on an RPG line of code. Required fields are underlined in magenta. Optional fields are underlined in cyan.

Length and Decimal Positions

Determines whether to underline the Length and Decimal Positions when they are allowed on an RPG operation.

Conditioning Indicators

Determines whether to underline conditioning indicators in red if they are present on an RPG line of code.

Comment

Determines whether to underline the comment field in blue if it is present.

Definition Specifications

Determines whether to delineate the syntax of D specs.

Procedure Specifications

Determines whether to delineate the syntax of P specs.

Restore Defaults

Clicking this button will reset all of the code delineation options to their default settings.
