Format Menu

Font

Changes the font of selected text in Design View. The font submenu offers a selection of several fonts. If you would like a broader selection, choose "other..." to bring up the font selection dialog.

In Code View, this option surrounds selected text with <FONT face=xxxx> and </FONT> tags.

Size

Changes the font size of selected text in Design View. In Code View, this option surrounds selected text with <FONT size=xx> and </FONT> tags.

Font Color

Changes the font color of selected text or the foreground color of a selected object (if applicable) in Design View.

Back Color

Changes the background color of selected text in Design View by using an in-line style sheet attribute.

Align

Changes the alignment of text and other HTML elements to Left, Center, or Right.

Style

Sets or removes the bold, italics, or underline style of selected text in Design View. In Code View, this options surrounds selected text in <STRONG> </STRONG> tags, <I> </I> tags, or <U> </U> tags respectively.

Indent

Indents html content to the right in Design View, or indents source code in Code View.

Outdent

Decreases the indentation by one increment. This applies to html content in Design View and to source code in Code View.

Bullets

Toggles the text selection between an unordered list and a normal format block.

Numbering

Toggles the text selection between an ordered list and a normal format block.
